Angel investing is one of the pathways to fuel the growth of your new startup. As you get traction, you may need to take outside money to fuel your growth into the market niche you are aiming for. How do you find Angel Investors? What kinds of things are they looking for? What are the conditions where Angel Investment deals work well? What makes an Angel Investor different than a Venture capital investor? What are the resources in the community that support your startup as it grows?

These are the questions we will explore in this session of Angel Investing 101 for Entrepreneurs. We will explore these questions from the entrepreneurs point of view,  

John Sechrest is the founder of the Seattle Angel Conference. He has been supporting the development and growth of startups in the Northwest for close to a decade. As an entrepreneur, he founded PEAK Internet Services, which it took outside money for and eventually sold for a profit for the share holders. He is also one of the co-organizers for the Lean Startup Seattle group, providing focus on using Lean Startup methods as a way to  succeed with new startups.
